Pass plus driving lessons in Banbury & Daventry or Villages

Pass plus driving lessons in Banbury and Daventry. Statistics prove that the risk of having an accident is highest during the first years of driving after passing your test. This is why the Government launched the Pass Plus programme. Backed by the Driving Standards Agency (DSA) and major motor insurance companies, it is designed to help new drivers gain more experience and become better equipped for the demands of modern driving.

The course needs to be taken within twelve months of passing your test to qualify for the insurance benefits. Any longer and those benfits can not be claimed. But you will still gain some valuble skills not taught before your test.

I will say now that instructors can take learners on the mototway, you will be gaining some of these skills with me. I will include motorways from June 12th 2018.

The PASS PLUS course is a six-hour module, which will include motorway, bad weather, city and rural roads. After completion you will be able to obtain a discount from many insurance companies, subject to your personal circumstances.

All modules should be practical sessions, although local conditions may mean some are theory based. You’ll normally spend at least 5.5 hours driving.

You won’t take a test but you’ll be assessed throughout the course. To pass you’ll have to reach the required standard in all modules.

This course has proved popular because the saving on insurance is far greater than the cost of the course. I only offer these during the autum and winter months due to the lateness of the mandatory night drive. If you wish to do these during summer i would have to increase the price of the night module.

The cost of the course is £180
